1 really bad goalline play on the fumblerooski

Sucks, I don't want to lose him. Would have been nice to get those plays against Arizona though :Reagan-hittin-head-

Was the feed as jumpy everywhere or was it just my local cable. I couldn't stand to watch it, looked like they wre filming with the family hand held.

Anybody hoping that a little time away would have Julius Peppers pining for home is backing up.
The soon-to-be-former Panthers DE was interviewed on the sidelines by Tiki Barber during the Pro Bowl broadcast, and the exchange went a little something like this:
Tiki: What would it take you to stay in Carolina?
    Pep: Hummina, hummina, hummina.
He had every opportunity to say he was still thinking about staying, and he didn't. The ship has sailed, folks, the ship has sailed.
Also, for the record, I wasn't watching the Pro Bowl, and I don't advocate it. It was on in the background while I was grilling some chicken, while wearing shorts and Birks, enjoying spring. Heard he talked, so I hit rewind on the DVR. I'd have transcribed it, but there's no point.

I'm glad I played CoD4 instead of watching it.

    Who's surprised?

He speaks like a 11 year old to begin with. He said what he's been saying--props to the panthers for 7 good years, but wants a new challenge.

I was much more interested in checking out our new defensive tackle.

It reminded of the year Moose made it, but we all knew he probably wasn't going to be a Panther the next season.

    Moose came back eventually, FWIW.

Peppers probably won't be coming back, although Javon Kearse did.

Was nice to see Beason shutting down Tony Gonzalez in the second half. Still got that, until he decides to get all mental and skip town like 90.

I think there is a chance he comes back eventually, especially if he ends up in the wrong 34 scheme, hits a certain age and his contract far exceeds his production. I'm not saying that's probable, but I wouldn't rule it out.
