Name another NFC quarterback that's playing well.

Eli Manning, Matt Hasselbeck, Rex Grossman, and Michael Vick all have quarterback ratings LOWER than Jake Delhomme's worst season ever. Jake's been bad. They have been worse.

Let's let that sink in a little.

This year, you get to go to Hawaii in the NFC for just not sucking balls.

I haven't seen any DT in the league get penetration into the backfield as consistently. I guarantee you that any of the guards he faced would tell you that he's been a force.

He's been disruptive at times....not constantly. He has had moments of dominance, and moments on his ass.

Oh? Like when? I haven't seen him get driven back once this year, much less pancaked. Some linemen have smartly used his penetration against him and guided him out of plays to open a hole, plus he's had those stupid penalties far too much, but he has been consistently disruptive.

I'm fine with him going. DTs aren't all about sacks, or pressures.
But he's taken himself out of a fair amount of plays, and not for immense gain. 2.5 sacks and 3 stuffs isn't a lot of plays made, one PD, no forced fumbles.
It's not that interesting a stat line without the name. But he's visible, he's known, and he does have the potential to make things happen.

the announcers were commenting on what a good job Jenkins was doing Sunday. Im glad he stayed healthy for the most part. and with him and Kemo, why would you run right at those fat-asses? run around.

as far as pro bowl Kasay could have made it. hes money

Define "consistently disruptive" for us dolts.

Also, he's been on his ass. More than once. Whether it's via-pancake, or just tipping over like a sleepy cow, he's ended up on his rear a couple of times. And when you say that his penetration has been used against him, you're correct. That happens a good deal (namely vs. quick backs in zone schemes)

    Peppers aint with it

Do not be shocked if Peppers doesn't pineapple. He is not the same man, no matter how you defend his being schemed, double-teamed and chipped.
Smiling has nothing to do with it; extreme fatigue does.

The only time penetration by defensive linemen is ever schemed into a running play is on trap plays where a wham block is supposed to take that lineman out of the play. Jenkins has been consistently getting penetration into the backfield, and not on trap plays. That disrupts the play, even if it doesn't result in a loss of yardage.

What's funnier? You taking my question so seriously, or you taking yourself so seriously?

    Push?
