    espn Mort says rumor is the Panthers are not going to tag Peppers and let him become a free agent. I hope so. that money can be spent better

    especially if things are uncapped this year, it's a terrible idea IMO.

    oh, it's not that we can't afford to lose him. I don't think JR wants to lose him, and I think many of you discount the impact of rostering him here. To me, if he's not here we have enough ends still.

    My issue with simply letting him walk isn't whether or not he's here. It's not getting something for him.

    expectations are a bitch . .. when was the last time the panters got something of note for anyone? No one is currently coming to mind
