    I think Strahan talked with Pep before the NFCCG two years ago, to hip him about how to play the Iggles.

    I don't consider what he said to be trash talk. Its pretty standard for a team with a good unit to say they're the best. If he said the Panthers DEs were bad, that would be trash talk. I suspect Pep was more bothered by the media emphasising it and expecting a response.

    Big difference in 2005 tackles.

    Strahan - tied for 2nd
    Umenyiora - tied for 6th

    Peppers - 43rd
    Rucker - tied for 56th.

    ... among defensive linemen that is.
