Did you even bother putting the crack pipe down before opening this abortion of a thread? Doesnt it make it hard to type with no functional brain cells? Just kill yourself now before some hapless braindead bitch gets drunk enough to give you your first and only piece of ass and you and her procreate polluting the gene pool. :computer:

I love Peppers but if* he's cut some good team is going to add him as a piece to hopefully improve for a championship we're still too far away to spend luxuriously on older DEs. Patriots would be likely, though they don't run as much 3-4**. Texans would probably love to have him.

    *BIG FUCKING IF

**Actually did we ever find out if that 3-4 thing was anymore than rumor?

Here is the rumor and the answer

While Chicago Bears GM Phil Emery is waist-deep in resumes for the club's next head coach, he's also poised to making a huge decision this offseason on one of the team's most recognizable stars in recent seasons -- impending free agent LB Brian Urlacher -- and there is also a potentially challenging situation upcoming with DE Julius Peppers.

Peppers is due $12.9 million in 2013, according to Dan Pompei of the Chicago Tribune, and his cap figure is set to be $16.3 million. The good news is that Peppers is still producing at a high level -- he had 11.5 sacks in 2012. The bad news is that they're pretty much going to be stuck with that cap hit: if they cut him before June 1, Peppers would still count $9.5 million against their cap (and not be on the team anymore); if they cut him after June 1, they could split that to $3.18 million against the 2013 cap and $6.36 million against the 2014 cap. Either way, it appears to make more sense to just retain him and hope that he continues to be a force on the D-line.

Yeah, I really doubt anyone with the Bears has even considered cutting him. This is one of those invented rumors sports media comes up with when they have nothing else to write about.

have they intervewed Peppers for head coach yet? They might fit him in between 10 and 10:15, right between Curt Warner and Kurt Warner.
