Yeah, his running style is nothing like Sanders. Barry would never make a move that would leave a guy spinning like a ballerina...:stirthepot:

yeah you guys are right, I must be a moron not to go ahead and feel like it’s appropriate to mention the name Cody Paul right up there along with Barry Sanders. They should go ahead and start casting Paul's lil’ head in bronze for Canton huh:37:

i'm just saying that just because a guy is short, doesn't mean he can't be a good football player.

from some thing i found on the net...

Barry Sanders was born July 16th, 1968 in Wichita, Kansas. He grew up in a family being one of eleven other children. When Barry was a kid he was considered to be too short to play football well at the college level. In fact, his 1,417 yards rushing in his senior year of high school wasn't enough to impress college recruiters. One recruiter told Barry's coach, "We don't need another midget." Only two colleges offered Barry a football scholarship. Barry accepted a scholarship from Oklahoma State University and the rest is now history.

man I love those Barry Sanders clips. Nobody broke ankles like he did. And to think we walked away (like Jim Brown) when he had a lot of yards left in him.

There is a kid up here on an 11-12 team - practices on the other end of the field from my son - he is short and compact and makes some sick moves. And as small as he is - he ALWAYS bounces off the first hit and gets extra yards - he's fun to watch.

    It doesn't help.

I don't see what's so amazing anyway. It's neat, but he doesn't seem faster than the other players, he just has good vision for someone that age.

i think that it's good vision and the way he runs -- for a kid that age to be able to "see" the field like that and to make those moves is pretty remarkable.
