as per KFFL, wouldn't kill me to have him here as a QB coach or offensive asst.

    Jets | Hackett's Days Numbered? - from www.KFFL.com
    Wed, 29 Dec 2004 17:59:32 -0800

The New Jersey Star-Ledger reports New York Jets offensive coordinator Paul Hackett is unlikely to return next season regardless if the team makes the playoffs or not. Head coach Herman Edwards is believed to be livid at the offense's inability to score points and he's apparently ready to part ways with Hackett, whom he has known since the mid-1970s when Edwards was a player at San Diego State and Hackett was an assistant coach at the school.

with the Jets needing the win to secure a playoff spot and listening to how Martz is melting down with the Turely crap - and did anyone hear how he asked the owner to put a note in each players locker reminding them that Martz was still in charge?

I think the Rams flop big time this week and Martz gets his walking papers soon after

I'm starting to hope that Martz stays on . . . As someone here recently suggested, the talent-rich rams would be less of an obstacle for the Panthers in coming years with hemorrhoidologist Martz still hacking away

Wow. It's a great time to fire some assistants. Never used to be like this.
We gotta add Mike McCarthy to the staff if/when Haslett's fired.
