TJ has always been a NE hater. Not sure why. Do you think Parcells has an axe to gring with NE? I wonder. And Ditka has been banging on them all year because he doesn't like people talking about this Patriot team replacing his 85 Bears as the best ever.

All the unbiased ex coaches and players I have heard have no problem with how they are winning. Sirius NFL network has more analysts than anyone and none of them have a problem with it.

So kind of like the way you are coming off?

Nevermind the fact that you claimed Ditka and others had no problem with it when they've said that it's the wrong thing to do.

Ditka was on Sirius after the Washington game and said he had no problem with the scoring. He just has been tough on the Patriots in general this season.

No crying here, just putting my two cents on the topic.

My thoughts were somewhat incomplete. I have a problem with this kind of thing at the ameteur level, what's the point in demoralizing your opponent when you're not getting paid for it. As a coach, you're not only demoralizing your opponent, but you're setting a bad example of sportsmanship for your own players.
However, at the Pro level if you read what I posted correctly you'd see that while I still have a problem with these practices, I clearly stated that they are professionals and get paid to score/prevent scoring, respectively. I still think it is in poor taste to be throwing the ball on first and second down and going for it on fourth down. A third down pass play just to get a first down and keep the clock running, I can get with that line of thinking...although I would never do it myself. That said, that is not what the Pats had been doing, the have been purposefully trying to run up the score.
