I saw PP on Cowherd today and he was very impressive. Humble, articulate, knowledgeable (about football). Cowherd asked him about other people and situations, and PP seemed sincere but careful not to offend anyone. I have been leaning toward PP lately, after spending time in Green's camp and then Dareus's, but this guy was impressive.

A few minutes later I go to Auburn's pro day on ESPN3.com, and Cam is there on the sideline yucking it up with his teammates, wearing an Underarmour backpack (for endorsement purposes, as noted by David Pollock, the announcer), etc. I am not a Cam supporter at all, but why did I get the feeling that PP will be in the league in 2020, and Cam will be a cliche by 2016?

Peterson seems like a good interview, but make no mistake, he has some of the "Cromartie Swagger" to him, which may not be all that bad. But he will get roasted at times.

I'm getting an AJ Green boner right about now, assuming we hit up one of these veteran QB's.

IF a CBA is reached, and IF the rumors about Steve Smith are realized and the team trades him, Green goes to #1 on my board. Lafell and Gettis were OK last season, but they drop off without 89 to occupy the defense. We would need a free agent (old, oft-injured, overpriced) and/or a stud.

I'd take him, if only because I think he could be a great returner. It's not the safe pick, but I'd roll the dice on him before Newton. I saw Mike Mayock project us to take Gabbert. I hope we do anything but that.

I don't think there is a safe pick in the (projected) Top 10 of this draft class. Peterson is as good as we're going to get. He's the least likely to give us morning-after regret...

I say if you don't feel very good about the QBs in the draft, DON'T TAKE ONE!! Nothing screws you up more that that.

With a great defense, and we are close to having one (add Rivera, a CB like Peterson, a FA DT and a rookie DT) we are pretty damn good. The best defenses in the NFL (85 Bears, Ravens) won it all with average to below average QBs) Not that I recommend that, but I am saying we can win in 2011 instead of waiting to see if Cam is able to read a defense and throw an accurate ball.

    From his interview :

-Said he was the best player in the draft
-Said you couldn’t compare him w/ Glenn Dorsey and other LSU busts, as he is a different person.
-Said his favorite position is RUNNING BACK (yes, running back, which he played as a kid)
-Said a cornerback should always take chances to make the play.

    overall sounded very confident.
