He shouldn't ever again after standing around and watching them pick up a lateral.

I don't know, drinks were served tonight, but right now I'm keeping Shelton, Hill and Basanez.

Call me crazy, but what does keeping Goings on the roster do for us exactly? I was not impressed the entire preseason. Last year he looked like poo. You have to go back to 2004 before you see him make any significant contributions (and significant they were...). He's not a good fullback...not a great receiver...he's been sucking at the run. Hell, Shelton's given me more hope tonight that I would have thought. Maybe it's Goings that needs to go...and Hankton too.

You might want to go back and check some tape from the 2005 playoffs (prior to the concussion). And, sorry, but Goings arguably has the best hands of any of our backs.

Hankton may go, just because of the numbers game. Else we are back to Gamble and Smith returning punts.

But guys, even if Shelton averaged 20 yards a carry tonight, he was just here to eat up carries against other players who also won't make their team. Roberton stays even if its just to be a gunner.

    Heh....Goings gets cut. That's funny.

    Maybe they keep Cramer though.

Well, Goings can run, catch, block better and play special teams.

Maser needs to show that he can put together a good line that isn't juiced.

Or like the rest of the NFL find doctors who are more discrete and don't get federal investigators all up their shit...

he was really slashing. Running authoritatively. Granted, there wasn't a lot of swarming to the ball, but he was hitting the hole so there was less time. The fumble near the goal was really unfortunate and in the backfield.

Don't know if he'll make it. Looked allright, though. He looked, from scrimmage, the way he had looked up to now in space. Whether he makes the team or not, he won't have much impact right now, and next year he would only under the premise that Foster and/or Goings aren't here.

Hankton has made some boneheaded plays this preseason.
