Not really. Carolina is basically the 4-5 record they've earned under Wilks. It's a C- roster with no legitimate answers at QB.

We controlled the trenches last week and looked like a playoff team.

We lost Oline and Dline today in a big way. Nothing works when that happens.

That's probably more of a matchups/scheme issues. Seattle is soft as fuck, so it's no surprise we were able to run 46 times.

Denver isn't soft, but you don't beat every physical team just by being physical. You win about half of those. You need better QBs and playcallers to reach true contender level.

I think Darnold played about as good as expected with the breakdown of the Oline

I'm not shitting on Darnold. He's much better this year and that's great. I feel like he's reached bridge QB/top backup QB level, which is a big step up from how he played over his first four years.

He's not a franchise QB, though, and you need one of those in order to be better than 4-5.

Yep, he has a good arm and can win some games if everything else is clicking, but is no Josh Allen or Mahomes for sure
Problem is, with the upcoming draft, I don't see any slam dunks

Better coaching from the draft onwards- I'm talking average so lets use Norv Turner as a baseline- and this team is running away with the division. one and done in the playoffs sure but...

    well that game sucked

Pittsburgh came in with a focus. They definately brought the fight. Can't complain too much with McAdoo. They shut the run down, he called some passes and Darnold played better than I expected he could. I think the refs fucked the Panthers for a chance to win, not as bad as they screwed Rivera's team tho jeez

So I guess no change to the play-off picture, win out they're in

I swear I thought Pitt had 2 uncalled delays. A HORRIBLE hold right in front of the side judge on one of their huge gains that then scored. But we just didn't have anything.
