He was good enough, but he wasn't good in comparison to his Panther games.

New Orleans will probably win out and have 7 wins. Who knows about the Panthers.

The division winner probably has nine wins and the last place team probably has six. There's not a big talent gap between first and last. The Saints might have been a factor had they not screwed around with Spencer Rattler for half their season.

If we lose this weekend, it is over for Panthers.

Last two games will be meaningless and Seahawks will still have something to play for.

Last TB game will see half their team on the bench as division will be over. Not sure how winning that meaningless game makes our team feel like a winner, but again, I just think differently

If you're playing for draft position, losing out gets us around the 14th pick, beating Seattle and splitting with the Bucs puts us at 17ish, and winning out means playoffs, which means we're picking 19th at best.

    Play to win, regardless.

Dude, it isn't over it they lose Sunday. The odds go down, sure, but it doesn't render the Seattle game meaningless. It just means the Panthers need two wins and two Bucs losses. That's not impossible at all.

Tampa can't clinch the division this week. If we get to your week 18 scenario where the game is "meaningless", then sure, we can have a discussion about giving certain player more playing time, but the Panthers can't be eliminated until after week 17.

So are you saying the team should treat the Seattle game like it's meaningless, since Seattle will be favored and Tampa will likely be road favorites in Miami? If that's what your saying, that's pathetic and disgraceful loser talk, and it would be crazy and outrageous for an NFL team to approach it that way. I think you might be mistaken about Carolina being eliminated if they lose this week, so I just wanted to let you clarify.

If Tampa beats us, they are gonna kill Miami. We can struggle to beat Darnold, but at the end of the day, Miami is already looking to next season and trying out a 3rd string QB. End of story. Last game will be meaningless

Tampa has just lost consecutive home games to teams that had been eliminated from playoff contention. We have no idea what will happen in that game.

Preemptively approaching the Seattle game like it's meaningless because you don't like the odds of a separate game is insane and ridiculous. If a real NFL team did that, there would be a revolt in the locker room. It's the equivalent of passing up a 4th down throw to the end zone and taking a knee.

Fyi, I'll take the week 18 win. The four draft spots you'd gain from a loss are meaningless. Wins actually count.
