Panthers vs Saints Running Commentary

Shula is fucking awful. I've seen little from Norv to suggest that Norv is "better". The offense had been carried on the backs on McCaffrey and pre, re-injured Cam. So between the two awful choices, I'd take the guy who's willing to stick to the run. The data on this for Carolina is pretty damn clear. We're not a team that can afford to take sacks or throw incomplete passes on first down. It destroys drives for us.

 

Norv didn’t ever buy into the Bull Ratio. Neither did many fans.

All that matters not.

A new coach and gm is the only thing that ll matter at this point.

Fuckit. I'm picky and this team and coaches are third rate. I've been here longer than they have.

I want a qb who has brains and a real arm. I want an ol who wants to protect him. I want an oc who is not a loser retread.

What we have now is tiresome. And not worth a Sunday time.

 

I was so pissed at halftime that went for an angry run/walk in the third quarter and most of the 4th quarter. I listened to the broadcast on my phone. My first play back in the Wooden Chair of Torment was the Saints converting that 3rd and forever, against the standard defense we always run in 3rd and forever. Unless we're actually sacking the quarterback, it's a pretty simple conversion for most teams.


Useless coaching.

 

The way you conduct yourself in situations during games, both emotionally and physically, mean nearly as much to me as the final score. This team constantly fucks up in time-sensitive scenarios. Coaches also keep fucking up with horrible play calls in the worst possible times.

Doing that constantly, and then being 6-8 on top of it, says to me you shouldn’t keep your job. I’ve been Ron’s biggest advocate. But it’s just time to look somewhere else.

Clean house. Let cam get his arm fixed first thing tomorrow so maybe it can heal by next fall, and HOPE that IS the problem

 

You lose to the saints 12 to 9, and you should lose your job as a coach on o, or hc, period.

Especially after losing 3x to them last year.

It's not like we don't have to play them next year or further.

 

I’m going to give David Tepper one season to show me his vision. Having $1 billion to spend on a winning team means nothing to me if I can’t get behind the team itself. I won’t tolerate a shit show.

Also: Reid wasn’t simply the owner’s social cause. He was the latest in a long line of a billionaire’s distressed property acquisitions. Side perk: he gets praised as socially “cutting-edge”.

 

Cam playing injured is not only bad for Cam, but it's bad for the team. The healthy backup probably gives you a better chance to win, if you're still into that sort of thing.
