    The biggest surprise of this game was the very good blocking by the oline and the secondary play- along with the many many drops by the saints receivers.

    dang, as soon as I pull for them to lose (can't remember ever doing that but this year only for draft pos), they come out and play close to perfect all around.

    I did enjoy the beatdown of the saints. doing that to the falcons would be fantastic.

    I was hoping we'd lose out too, but the truth is, as fans we don't do that because we believe it's in the best interest of the team. We do it because it protects us emotionally. The moment the team looks promising again, we're right back into it.

    To be fair, I guess I should give myself credit for starting a thread on Friday about how we were still in the hunt. But even I'm fickle. Every man has his faith tested.
