Panthers vs. Lions Running Commentary

Just watched it for the third time.

11:05 in the third quarter. Jake throws, but if you watch, not only does Smitty have him beaten, but Smity's running the corner. The ball is underethrown, Bly catches it on what looks like Jake almost threw the post, and Smitty was coming back to try to get it.....he was close to Bly, but Im going to say it would be impossible for Smitty to get that. Smitty was two yards to the right of Bly.....racing for the corner, but Bly saw it beforehand, and got it. You could certainly say Smitty shouldve looked sooner, and had he, he could have tried to come back quicker.

Eh....thats it for me on this. Just my take after watching it in slow mo.

 

Perhaps I worded it wrong.

It was as much Smitty's fault as it was Jakes.

The other two are on Jake.

 

Eh, you called it how you see it, and thats why this is here, so it really doesnt matter what I think...although, I will still disagree with your rewording!

 

I don't want Weinke starting over Jake. But I think Jake needs to see we can win when he's not in. Good inspiration.
