That's the worst game Jake has ever played. If Weinke doesn't come in, we lose. I've never been a Weinke fan, but he pulled this one out and I'm convinced it was a dead loss if not for the Weinke. Hats off to Weinke. We needed that don't get excited mannerism today. Go Weinke!!!!!!!!!!

C'mon man...Delhomme is a mediocre quarterback at best..always has been..he's got all the heart in the world, but he is neither a gifted passer or gifted scrambler/runner...we need a talented QB to WIN a championship

Jake seemed to be getting going the drive before. The next drive was blown up by penalties and bad blocking. So I wouldn't say Jake would not been able to get us 47 yards.

Chris came through big time. Got the ball out of his hands, and made the simple throws with good velocity.

    Exactly.

And not to say there wouldn't be some positives with Weinke in, if needed. I think he sells the fakes better - Jake does this half-heartedly at times. Weinke looks off the safety, which is the big Jake weakness.

    But he's not Jake.

    Couldn't disagree more.

Jake's worst game ever was probably last year @ Philly. Or, maybe it was 2003 at Tampa. He's had worse games.

One of his picks today was Smitty's fault for running a sloppy go route. Another was a team effort---Mitchell gettin blown up inside and restricting Jake's line of sight.

Jake is a gambler. No question. He makes a ton of plays, and he blows a ton of plays. Weinke will give you more consistency, but cannot make as many throws from awkward positions as Jake.

And, by the way: Jake is still the starter. Sorry, y'all!

Jake's picks came on forcing the ball. Well, the second one was more of a bad ball, reciever looked open, he just threw it shitty with pressure in his face.

And then he seemed just off until the 4th Qtr drive. Held the ball when the checkdowns were wide open, and then he misses high.

I think Fox chewed his ass a little and he came out making solid throws. I think Jake needs a little ass kicking now and then.
