It was fucking loud in that stadium. I was listening to the 1st half on the radio and I could barely hear Mick and Eugene. People will always love a winner.

 

It's funny to scroll back ten pages in this thread and see everyone's comments as opposed to the last few pages enjoying the win. Some of you make The Huddle look credible.

Gettleman is smiling and slapping his pud against your faces in light of our wide receivers' performances.

 

Oh, the team wasn't playing like dogshit down 7-6 at home against the Lions? Thank you for your infinite hindsight wisdom. Enjoy going back to doing whatever it is you do to contribute around here.

 

Just a true fan who paid for season tickets during the Weinke and Clausen fiasco years. The kind of fan who didn't leave the stadium early even when we were down by 20 (even though the tailgating was so much fun). The kind of fan who refuses to be a fair-weather fan in spite of seeing BoA Stadium at 25% capacity at the end of a game.

I guess that's my contribution.

I've said fuck them about a thousand times. As a matter of fact, I'm a little superstitious that if I don't curse Cam Newton under the table, that he won't do well. He seems to improve once I sworn him off forever.

But yeah - I get what you're saying....hindsights a bitch, major. I don't see you around much during the game...the rest of us are, and yes, we don't have the luxury of knowing the outcome yet.

We're fans who either live too far, are too poor, or whatever reasons that we can't go to every game who watch the games and use message boards for catharsis. ANd we don't know who's gonna win, and we get mad when we are losing, and we love it when we are winning.

THat is the human fan. Right there. If you pretend to be otherwise, you're fucking lying. Which wouldn't surprise me.

 

For what it's worth, as Im watching the game again, I am REALLY liking Bene Benwikere.
