Davis will start and will likely come out after eclipsing 1500 yards, triggering incentives.

It wouldn't be the first time in the NFL.

i heard they would yank him after he beats his career high, he'd need 130 yards or so to hit 1500, but only 50ish to beat his career high. We do seem to have better play-calling with Foster in the game though.

How rude is it to hold players out to prevent them from making incentives? It is done a lot? And why wouldn't yards in the post season mean anything? (I know it doesn't for official stats but for s???)

It would be more than rude imo, plus it would give the player a reason to hold-out or sandbag it the next season. I doubt if the Panthers would worry too much about a guy hitting an incentive in the last game.

It may have been 1400 that he gets the incentive.
My fiancee was talking, and probably about the wedding, since she hasn't stopped in nearly two weeks.

It's not a matter of courtesy tho. We need him 100% for the run.
