    B&B....I'm disappointed that your "Ron's Cucks" thread had gone downhill. I was so looking forward to seeing Coughlin's scowl in there.

    The secondary is a problem. Coleman was great yesterday, but Roman Harper had at least three terrible plays and the even bigger concern is that Tillman was absolutely gassed by the end of the game. He showed great effort during plays but you could see him walking around and struggling to get his breath between them. While it's not ideal, with so few cornerbacks this team needs to go to more 4-3. The idea behind drafting Shaq is that he was supposed to be great in coverage and a hybrid linebacker/safety, so put his ass out there and get something out of him.

    Also, this roster has no backup running backs.

    I was really hoping Artis Payne would play better. I would like to see him again against the Falcons.

    Yeah, secondary is a problem, which grows as the pass rush disappears. I have no illusions.

    And Shaq, I am not seeing anything I didn't really expect. More would be good but I'm not sure how much we could realistically expect. They took a project in the 1st. Might be a TD situation, in that after a couple more years he starts making an impact.

    Sink or swim, he needs to be out there now. The next two games would be a perfect time to try it, otherwise Tillman and Finnegan are going to be used up by the playoffs.

    Putting Shaq on the field makes the defense worse, I agree, but I am not concerned about the next two games. I am concerned with mid-January.
