I don't think we have to sterilize the organization. I think you have to change the coaching staff and address the offensive line and secondary. We need a different vision. We have to stop hiring people who don't care about having a competitive offense. You can't consistently compete in the NFL with one side of the football.

 

Riviera has three more years on his contract. No way Richardson even thinks about eating that much salary. He won't be fired next season either unless they win less than three games.

 

And Gano isn't performing up to his contract. Compared to Olindo Mare, he's Morten Anderson, but overall he's been a pretty average kicker. That doesn't excuse everything Rivera did wrong at the end, but you still expect the guy to make that kick in that situation. That's what you're paying him for.

 

Irrelevant Ron could somewhat redeem himself by canning Shula and bringing back Chud.

Gano has been damn near perfect so I hate it. I cannot fucking believe he missed that kick.

 

I know. That's why I keep harping on the fact that this franchise is fucked for so long. And why Gettleman is just as bad as HUrney.
