All that deep shit and the 3rd and short, yeah, too Chud like for me. But then there was the Olsen TD on 4th. I suppose it will keep DCs guessing down the line.

I didn't like the pass happy shit, but I was more annoyed with Cam for being in FUCK IT GO DEEP mode. Check it down.

The Olsen TD is invaluable for future 3rd and short/4th and short situations. It's already hard enough to stop Tolbert or Cam but now you have to honor the pass.

 

We did a lot of stuff on 1st down I wasn't crazy about, ended up in a ton of 2nd and longs. But there were a lot of positives too. That we can be off and still win, being a big one.

Getting legit DT play is huge, fuck Marty for neglecting it for so long. Get the OL straight and we'll be having fun on Sundays.

 

Yeah, I'm still tempering my expectations for the rest of this season, but if you can clean up the offensive line and add an impact player in the secondary then holy shit.

 

Yeah, Rivera was talking recently about KNOWING the rookie wall was coming for the young guys. We have a bunch of them playing too.

Btw, people are gonna get used to Rivera hitting on 17 and winning, and when it inevitably fails will probably jump all over him for gambling too much.

 

I think we saw him stay with a 2 showing often enough that he won't get the shit for it that any other coach would

 

I'm ok with not running on 3rd & short if the defense is stacking, but Shula was barely running at all.

 

He did call a QB draw on 3rd and 10. We got to see the bastard child of Chud and Dan Henning.
