    If we're being completely honest, even this defense still kinda shits the bed when it really matters. This probably should have been an annoying 18-13 win, but everyone on the edge just forgot that Hurtz can run the ball.

    Hat tip to 1PP on the Rhule presser stuff...
    Guy sounds like he's still in year 1 at Baylor trying to rebuild. Just a few plays here or there and we're sure to get Oklahoma State next time.

    But the team's actions (or inaction) make it look like they're ready to win now.

    Feels like the FO and coaches are on two different pages.

    This is full on speculation: would Tepper be ready to pull the plug- the whole GM coming in with a head coach he didn't pick already is usually bad news for someones prospects. Then there was talk that Tepper wanted a scouting guy while Rhule wanted analytics and Fitterer is a scout so we know who won that power struggle. Again speculation but I felt this season had possibilities in from the extremes of interim head coach before Christmas to playoff win.

    It all goes hand-in-hand. Darnold will never be at his best operating with internal pressure. This was a bad day in particular for that group, and Sam did what Sam does with that type of pressure.

    There’s no way I’m committing to that quarterback long-term. Not at this point. So again, the carousel continues.

    Erving and Elflein were DAY ONE FA signings. Both are on the shelf right now, neither were good at all before that. Neither looked good on tape last year. Quit talking about wanting to make something a priority, and make it a fucking priority.
