Third note: Burns the TFLs are nice but maybe flex on a sack or two.

    It could have been worse.
It took a 58 yard field goal in the last 20 seconds for the to win.
Giving up 4 sacks is bad, but pales in comparison to giving up over 200 rushing yards.

I know they shouldn't have played like shit the 1st half, but to claw back & then get that BULLSHIT roughing the passer penalty was heart breaking!!!

doesn't matter . .. even tho Young had 3 mediocre quarters, all it took was a couple of clutch plays in the 4th quarter for the media to put a high gloss on his ass. Especially if he pilots Bama into another championship all the overpowered King Makers out there will crown him, and a poorly run pickin' first team (like the panthers) WILL draft yet another overhyped QB first overall. .. Come on now ;-)

That Texas DL was held on the play that sprung Brice. Really bad no-call that impacted the game.

no question that there was a bunch of week one refing
BUT - Looking at college QBs, Young is in the pole position so far

I don't know of one of those highly rated QBs that I'd start as a rookie.

    Well
That was a very poor game plan. With a weak and inexperienced LT, going against an all pro pass rusher, you'd think we would play to our rookies strength and run at Garrett, not expose him all day like we did. They figured out how to easily neutralize our pass rush by running over Brian Burns all day. Horrible game plan. By the 2nd half, CMC and Foreman might not have a ton of yards, but they will have at least taken some of the quick twitch off of Garretts first step.

1st 3 plays, all pass. Very easily read by the defense.

Just a horrible game plan. Only rivaled by our execution of the game plan
