Especially with all the Bills fans there today. I called it a non loss because it sure didn't feel like a win. Peppers was introduced last and got a great welcome home. He has definitely grown into a vocal leader.

    I call it a win because it's a win. A non-loss is called a tie.

Peppers hasn't grown into anything. He's the same guy he's always been, Panthers fans are just a bunch of ignorant, fickle fucks. I am impressed that he's still this good at 37, and I'm happy that he's getting to rub that in the faces of the same fans who burned his jerseys.

Christian McCaffrey is not a conventional NFL running back. I warned people about this when they kept talking all that bullshit about him running between the tackles at Stanford. Obviously he dances too much and he can't break any tackles, but he's also a major liability in pass protection. Twice in the first quarter he immediately went into his pattern against an obvious blitz, leaving the offense with inadequate blocking. Then the one time he did attempt blitz pick-up, he dived at the guy's knees and drew a chop block penalty. It infuriated me when they kept putting him out there in the fourth quarter instead of Stewart. Maybe McCaffrey would excel in New England, but he sucks ass here and doesn't belong on the field unless he's split wide or it's third down and 3+.

I don't know if Matt Kalil's contract is the reason why Dave Gettleman was fired, but it's should be. Matt is utterly hopeless. He should have signed a classic "prove it" contract rather than receiving the seventh most guaranteed money of any offensive lineman in the NFL.

Cam has gone from an asset to average and will soon be a liability. I love the attitude he's brought and all the things he has done in the community, but the team has to be callous about this shit and use him up as a rusher for as long as his body can take it. It's not like he's going to survive passing behind this line anyway. Call the designed runs again. Tell him to scramble whenever he can. Use whatever legs his has left until he doesn't have them anymore, because he's never going to be good enough to function solely as a passer.

Jonathan Stewart plays the game with Steve Smith's intensity. Stop being a faggot, Shula. Give him the ball.

Daryl Worley still sucks? Really? But I had so many Panthers fans insisting that he was a good corner by the end of last season. Bradberry is a lot better, but he's not as good as Panthers fans like to pretend either. That last play was nearly a disaster, as Jones was wide ass open. Adams is a concern as well. The defense has looked great over the first two weeks in part because it has played two rushing teams. The next three weeks are fucking scary.

This offense desperately needs a deep threat. Put Samuel out there and see if he will sink or swim.

Losing Olsen sucks, but it may be end up being a good thing over the long-term. This offense needs to get rid of Shula, it needs to get back to power running, and it needs to find a way to function that doesn't depend on an old tight end.

It sucks that Norwell and Lotulelei are going to be gone after this season. Gettleman didn't fuck the cap as badly as Hurney did, but he left us in a bad spot, especially with some shitty recent drafts. This is a roster without much dependable young talent. A painful, long-term rebuild could be on the way depressingly soon.

I'm concerned about a lot too. Kalil sucks dick. LB depth. Gano in a close game at the end. Cam's accuracy. Olsen.

Lot to be concerned with. But 2-0 is good shit.

Well, all I can say is being at the games and remembering a fairly silent Peppers first go round, he is much more animated and vocal with his teammates then he was. Play wise, I always liked him, but I saw a much different man on the sidelines and interacting with teammates.

There is no truth to that whatsoever. I saw him at games and in training camp and at practices. Peppers was always comfortable with his teammates, just not the media.
