    Shula's run calls have been fucking stupid. I'm sure Wilfork's replacement is a fine young man, but it's time to punch it up inside.

    They wanted to run time off the clock and correctly figured Rivera would be less likely to call a time out than if they ran the field goal unit out there. After Ginn's dumb decision I'm sure they wish they had that time back.

    I am very cranky.

    Shula's being a bitch with his playcalling, mainly with the runs. Running a shotgun stretch with Tolbert?

    Newton has been fairly efficient. But if we're hellbent on running all 3 back horizontally, without challenging the (weaker) middle of their front, we will continue to see 3rd and long. And, then, we lose.

    Carolina has lined up in 3rd & 7 or longer 7 times in 30 minutes of football. That's ok, if your opponent is forcing it. Not okay when your coordinator decides to dick around.

    Fix it, you fuck!

    Bad defense there. When Gronk splits wide you have to expect that he's getting the pass and give help.

    The defense, without CJ and Blackburn, and some shit calls, has been ok. Tackling and cutback containment is an issue. Fixable, if they want it bad enough.

    Offensively, there is no excuse. This secondary is weak, and we have plenty of weapons. Challenge their weaknesses.
