    This is the most optimistic offseason/preaseason I have ever had defensively as a fan. But this special teams shit will ruin a good year. Fast.

    The supreme court has ruled that the military cannot force enemy combatants to watch Panther's special teams play as a means of gaining intelligence. It is now officially a torture technique.

    I disagree. I think the special teams are very special, in an Olympics sort of way.

    The main problem with special teams is that we do not have a returner who can hang on to the ball. I think we should stop trying to find a guy who is a threat to score every time he fields a punt or kickoff and just assign a guy who will not turn it over and just get whatever yards he can. Goodson trying to reverse field on that kickoff return was just awful. Edwards does not know what he is doing. I miss Mark Jones.

    No one has stepped up at WR while Smitty has been out. They all look like scrubs. I would probably give the nod to Kenny Moore to start right now. I do not think Moore has been that bad. He is putting the ball where it should go most of the time they are just not catching it.

    At least the D looks good.
