well thats pretty impressive. guess we'll have to see what our version of the "best defensive line in football" can do sunday. if we can get manning down a few times and pull this one out i'd say everyone will have to give our d-line that title, as they so justly deserve.

yeah, Manning shredded them. High completion rate, 360-some yards. Colts offense is scary good.

rucker may be able to beat his man, but manning has a quick trigger and HATES to take a loss on a play. i'd hope that harrison gets blanketed.

the panthers chances for a win are much greater with the colts winning. they'll still be celebrating.

if the panthers win -- watch out. they'll be the talk of the league.

Short week, and we got the tough, draining win from the Colts we wanted. Best possible scenerio for us.

REAL Scary. Just judging by the Bucs and NO who they scored about 87 more points on than we did they are light years ahead of us on O. After miraculously conquering “the champs” (as Michaels incessantly refers to the bucs) the Colts should stay sky high emotionally. They are going to be feeling like there is no obstacle that they can not overcome. Edge should be back by Sunday and their offense (specifically Manning Harrison and their beas TEs) will be the very best that we will face all year. The Colts WILL be scoring TDs on us . . . just not as many as last night. If we can hold them to 3, and maybe one of those ugly-ass FGs then we can win. I think we can (and WILL) outscore them for 4 big reasons:

Our D-line is better than TB’s
Our O-line is better than TB’s
Our RB is better than TB’s
Indy has got to be completely empty (physically) after that and the likelihood that we will be fresher could put us over the top.

I believe that we will keep that Dungy D on its heels with a balanced attack and we will get enough pressure on Manning to shake him when it counts. Our guys will have more in our tanks late in the game.
I predict yet another OT win for us -

    Panthers 27 Colts 24

FYI - That leaves the Panthers, KC, & Minn as the last of the unbeaten after week 6.:D

    talk about best case scenario:

    *Colts have a shortened week
*Colts battered from Tampa's D and OT game
*Tampa loses a game to us
*Colts most likely will have trouble duplicating same emotional energy....hard to repeat in 6 days (ripe for a letdown)
*our defense is pissed about the Saints

I think we've got to shorten the game as much as possible. Keep our D fresh. Got to get first downs.
