I am curious as to what Richard Williamson can do with him. He is a pretty good WRs coach.

like I said... then we have no holder for the kicker... hell its possible Proehl stays active for that 1 reason.

This whole scenario makes me think what I have been all summer, Hankton is on thin ice. His production dropped last year, and a number of other guys put up similar numbers. Furthermore O'Brien isn't there to insure him a job.

I like Hankton and would hate to see him go, but you have to do what is right for the team.

man, all of a sudden we're set at WR.

The Front Office took care of business this off season.

If it came down to keeping Proehl or Hankton, I'd keep Proehl. Smart and one of the extra DB's should be able to handle Hankton's ST duties.

Proehl ain't retiring this year...so stop the nonsense

Great move by the Panthers...Gardner is a hell of a pickup. Easily the 3rd best FA move this offseason.

Good deal imo. Maybe we'll get the best out of him the way Fox and the coaching staff usually does with the other players.
