I highly doubt either of those two don't play, especially Colbert.

Then that leaves us with all 4 dressing out. Which is what I'd like to see.

Right now, I'd expect that Proehl will want to retire. If not, they could keep 4, but they've not done it in 3 years (even sitting Colbert, as we all know, against GB).

If Proehl retires, what does that do to the cap?

There's always the possibility of cutting Hankton and having one of the RB's or DB's take his spot on ST. I say the b/c I don;t think Gardner, Carter, or Colbert will be expected to do that.

I like this trade .If Gardner can be as good as Moss was .We can have the 3top WR in the NFL Smith Gardner Colbert. As far as Spoon or Morgen go.If we can sign one of the them the other one will also sign. They are best friend. They don't want to play away from anther.I think one of them mitt take less cash so we can sign the other guy

Panthers | Gardner Will Cost Sixth-round Draft Choice
    Wed, 27 Jul 2005 16:42:19 -0700

Pat Yasinskas, of the Charlotte Observer, reports the Carolina Panthers will give up a sixth-round draft choice in 2006 to the Washington Redskins for WR Rod Gardner if Gardner passes a physical with the team Thursday, July 28. Sources also noted the compensation is also conditional on Gardner making the team's roster. The Panthers will be responsible for $2 million base salary for Gardner, who is in the final year of his initial contract.
