    I think it's a helluva a better player than we'd likely get with a 6th ot 7th.

Also - I think he's a better receiver than his stats credit him, as he has yet to have ANY consistent QB or OC.

Really - what redskin has been consistently good since Snyder bought the team?

    Sweet, assuming it goes through.

Hopefully, he can find consistancy here in Carolina. It certainly makes me feel better about the WR situation.

I like it. I think management sees that we have a 2-3 year window to win it all and they decided to go for it. So where is the weakness now? LB? OL?

LB. No Fields and potential issues with Spoon and Morgan have me worried there.

Although we've addressed it, we're not out of the woods at RB. 2 gimpy starters, a rookie, and Goings.

I'm happy with the Panther's front office.

I don't think Gardner will ever touch Moose's numbers last year....but who could now that Smith is back.....so Gardner will be a $2 million 3rd WR?

I think he moves into #2.

A rook who's supposedly coming at things slow, at that.

Things could be frightfully rosy. We're deep (of course, with "starters" being paid millions as backups, you could say we thought we were deep last year, too). We're "powerful", with three new additions and a couple killer rooks.

But on the other half of that, there are tons of things that could go wrong that wouldn't be implausible at all.

He absolutely gives the #2 spot a run. He's never not started.

He's at least depth - god forbid something happens to Smitty or Colbert.

It's be nuts to see Gardner and Drew Carter starting one week!

The $2 million is alot, but the pick is where we scored. And I'd rather pay gardner 2 million than Hankton and Smart $1.6 million. :twocents:

I think you're right. I also like the flexability we have to go to a 4 wide out set. I don't know that Henning would ever do such a thing but it's there if we need it.

I wonder what Collin is thinking right about now?
