The Carolina Panthers signed cornerback Reggie Howard to a one-year contract.

Actually... with the loss of Wesley this really isn't a surprise.

I take it that Ricky Manning has had no bites.

kinda hoping for a young guy with return skill, but it's cool. Handles a need we would've had. Just don't let it be a deal much over the min.

Knows the system, and started the entire season for the 2003 NFC Champs. He gives us good experience, if nothing else.

Not a surprise to see him back. Hows Jeno doing over there? Any chance he gets cut later on?

That's funny. Just this morning I was thinking about him, but for next year when we probably lose RMJr. ST, dime, depth. Works for me.

Possibly. His salary ramps up pretty good in the coming years. His contract runs through 2009. I'd still love to see him back.

Oh shit, now Magnus and I can rehash our old "Howard versus Grant" debate. WAIT, we didn't invite Grant back did we? Nevermind. :ylsuper:
