panthers sign 17 players

The Carolina Panthers announced that 15 undrafted college players and two street free agents had agreed to terms.

Defensive end Mike Cecere and kicker Tyler Purtill are the street free agents.

Jimmy Smith was a street Free Agent and has been a Pro Bowler. Dominic Rhodes ran for a 1000 yards last year, he was a college UFA.
