Here, here, here, here, and here.

Try to keep up, champ. We've already gotten the "just an opinion" excuse out of the way as a shield for people who know that they're wrong. It's not just a matter of opinion, I'm either correct or incorrect. If you want to disagree, get off your @$$ and actually put something together. Otherwise, keep your hole closed.

coming from you that is just hilarious.

and btw, i was one of the first on this board to go off on ya here. while others were saying they liked you, i was questioning your upbringing. so no, i have remained my pissy self. mags is just pissed cuz i laid the sarcasm on a bit thick in response to his stance on the draw play at the end of first half of the SB.

and btw, i offered to do the work if ya wanna send me your copies of the games ... so you can get off your all high and mighty trip. i do have a couple of tapes from the playoffs and i'm sure in those games i can find examples of Hoov blowing out a defender ... if i do, will you concede (like we are all suppose to capitulate to your opinion based on your one play example)? if not, then why should i bother?

#1) I wouldn't define whining about being called a retard, "going off."

#2) You were about the 5,829,755,040th person to complain about me. Billions and billions have been served, but it's amusing to watch you thinking that you're special. But seriously, I'd love to see where anyone said that they liked me. That person would deserve a medal for going out on the world's biggest limb.

Nope, he's presumably pissed because you have forgotten your place. As recently as a couple of weeks ago you were acknowledging that you knew less than $#!+ about football and that you'd be better off keeping your mouth shut and learning from people who did know something. (re: "I personally would rather be corrected than to continue with some stupid thoughts in my head, which I realize often creep in and can become fact in my mind, and so appreciate correction even from you and even while you calling me a retard ... though I'd much prefer you not.")

You shouldn't. You're lazy and ignorant as it is, and now you've added assness to that. I can more or less get away with being an ass because I actually know some things. You can't. In this world you can either be mean or a dumbass, but not both.

Not entirely, no, but he's a major factor. We've never had much in the way of in-line blockers, although I have somewhat less of a problem with that than Magnus, but having a decent blocking fullback would go a long way towards making us at least adequate in short yardage. As it is, we stink. Heck, we don't even have to take the starting job away from Hoover, we just need to replace him in short yardage situations.

Admittedly a biased source......panthers.com.......but I just wanted to throw out Hoover's published bio.

Served as primary blocking back for rushing attack that gained a team-record 2,091 yards and ranked seventh in the League with an average of 130.9 yards per game in 2003.

Helped running back Stephen Davis rush for a team-record and career-high 1,444 yards.

Cleared the way for Panthers to generate a team-record 223 yards rushing at New Orleans (10/26/03), including 178 yards rushing by Davis, another team mark.
