Now I challenge you to find a point in this thread where I said Hoover is a great blocker. This "attack" on you started when you cited perhaps the worst play to prove your point about Hoover's skills. The funny thing is we agree on his strengths and weaknesses. I just hate it when people blame the wrong person for mistakes...

I like long walks on the beach, getting blown in my convertible on ferries out to islands, the contra-bass saxophone, and rice pudding. I hate it when Thelt gives up on the season after one game and starts pimping our first round pick even though he'd never seen him play. I'm glad Sandy got banned, and even though I was young at the time, I was kinda happy that JR got shot on that awful TV show. For that matter, when my wife watches Gone With The Wind, I find myself rooting for Sherman. Not sure if it's about Michael Vick or not, but I never liked Bobby Hebert either.

Sooner or later I hope you'll realize that the best way to keep yourself from looking stupid is to stop speaking.

#1) Had you seen the play in question before "attacking" me?

#2) Your initial attack was on the grounds that Umenyiora wasn't the one who had made the tackle, when he clearly was.

#3) I said from the beginning that Seidman whiffed on his cut block, but that Hoover stood around and did nothing while Umenyiora made the tackle. That's true. Just like in pass protection where your obligation is always the inside rusher first, Hoover's responsibility was to make sure that Umenyiora was down. Emmons never even came close to the line of scrimmage, but Hoover didn't make a decision and didn't end up blocking either player, which turned what should have been an easy first down into a very close play.

#4) If you don't disagree about Hoover's blocking deficiencies, then shut your pie hole.

    1) Yes...and remembered it...just not assignments.
    2) It was a problem with your poor writing skills. You stated Hoover and he were holding hands, not me.
    3) I'm guessing you are going with the theory that if you say the same thing over and over people will start to believe you. If your interpretation was wrong the first time (and it was), saying it over and over won't fix it.
    4) Just as soooon as you pull your head out of your pie hole and find a play that backs up your point.

This is what you call remembering it: "If Umenyiora was his assignment and Umenyiora didn't make the play then he did his job. I don't mind honest blame but man point it in the right direction."? Or "Actually, not having over analysed the game nor having the game in front of me...I used YOU as my source. As in if Hoover's standing in front of Umenyiora holding his hands how is he making the tackle?" Dude, don't just outright lie. Stupidity is excusable, but people like liars (you) even less than assholes (me).

Liar and refuses to take responsibility for his own mistakes - interesting. Moreover, it contradicts an earlier statement when you said it was your mistake: "Hey, I misread your post and I was wrong. I admitted that."

Wow, your IQ must be off the charts. What you just described regarding the play is pretty much what I said pages ago, but you act like you came to some kind of revelation that proved me wrong. That's a neat trick, but unlikely to work.

You just got through saying "The funny thing is we agree on his strengths and weaknesses." You might be able to get away with contradicted yourself over a course of several pages, but contradicting yourself from one post to the very next one is a little too obvious.

You win, I lose. You've bested me with you superior intelligence and ability to spin. That and the distraction of screwing with you is getting old. Obviously, anything else I say will simply lead to more paranoid "your out to get me" rants. Just please...stop the gay fantasizing about me okay?
