Other guys struggled, no question. Rosario continues to look like ass and we didn't run block very well. But nobody struggled nearly as much as Jake.

 

plenty of guys were bad out there. At the time I said it, Jake had 2 INT. There were other guys out there fucking up. Luckily a number of them, OL included, started to redeem themselves.

I guess that's what Collin is objecting to, a statement made mid-game that may be taken as a postgame thought.

 

None of them were playing nearly as badly as Jake at that point. You're extremely sensitive to any criticism of Delhomme and will say idiotic things in an attempt to defend him. Instead of whining about people pointing that out, work on your defensiveness to the point that you stop saying idiotic things. You simply cannot pretend that "The rest of the team, with a few exceptions, hasn't been any better" was a legitimate thing to say, either at that point of the game or the end, and trying to avoid admitting that you said something stupid is only leading you to embarrass yourself further.

 

In reality, that'd be undervaluing the way others were playing, not trying to say anything positive about Delhomme. So making it a Delhomme issue just seems to be you bringing up old garbage. I've yet to say anthing positive, to my knowledge, today about Delhomme, and if I tried, I wouldn't have anything to say. So, you disagree about the level of various players I didn't, at the time, name, at a time which you weren't around to know around when I was saying it? OK. fair enough, we disagree.

 

The offense as a whole didn't play well. Jake's throws were high when not intercepted. His QB rating was a fucking 12.3 I imagine he'll be pretty quiet on the flight home. Nothing like a game against the Lions to get your shit back together.

Defense as a whole gets the game ball for me

 

Rosario might lose his starting position in the Pro Bowl if he's not careful.

I might be an idiot but I'd say the team played pretty good to win on the road by 11 when the QB throws 4 ints, with a 12 rating. The spread was 10.

 

The defense continues to impress me. I know it's Oakland and all, but damn. Nice to have a pass rush again.

It's about time we found a decent returner.

Ugly win > pretty loss. We had games like this in '03 and '05.
