    Who else?

The Oline didn't bring their A game today.

    But a W is a W and I'll take it.

We didn't run block or pass protect very well against a mediocre front. Deagelo did a lot on his own.

We had a couple of drops when the reciever was suprised enough to find an accurage pass.

Baker didn't have his best punting game. None got blocked, so that was good.

I was a bit irritated that they were able to get the screen game going when that's all they had, but its hard to critisize the defense at all. Jake should buy their lunch all next week. And pickup their dry cleaning, and whatever else he can think of.

It was the worst game I've ever seen from a starting quarterback.

And the playcalling reverted back to retard form this week. I can't count how many times I saw us run from I on 1st down, playaction from I on 2nd down. It was horrible and Oakland was not fooled at all.

Jake was outplayed by Walter, which is pretty staggering.

chipshot said "what? Who else is playing bad?" only after you said:

which ranks among the dumbest things you've ever said in your 44,265 posts. It was absolutely idiotic to say that the rest of the team (with or without a few exceptions) hadn't been any better. Beyond dumb. It made Thelt look brilliant. When you say absolutely moronic things like that, it highlights your defensiveness about Jake with fifty foot neon signs. No one on the team was nearly as bad as Jake today. In fact, no one on the team has been nearly as bad as Jake was today in any other game this year. Hell, I can't recall anyone in franchise history being as bad as Jake was today. Trying to defend him just because you're sensitive whenever someone criticizes him only serves to make you look foolish.

    Edit:
And just to distract from the inevitable "We win and you just want to talk about me?" rebuttal, how about everyone else try to think of any player in franchise history who had a worse game than Jake's today. There are bound to be some worthy candidates. I nominate Fasani Magic!

That's full of crap. The OL was being bullied, the WRs and TEs were playing horribly, the backs hadn't gotten anything other than one play in the first half. The first few series Fargas was gashing us for 6-8 yard runs. It's more than within bounds to say a lot of players were choking on it early.

I have no idea how I defended Jake Delhomme, but I find it funny that you'd make this about me defending Jake when it was Chip that contested whether anyone else was playing badly.

Who would you rather have starting for the panthers right now at this point in their careers! Jake or Kerry Collins?
