    Why not bring Chris Leake in for league minimum? It's a no-lose situation for the Panthers...if he really sucks, then the franchise can say he couldn't cut it, and still gets a pat on the back for giving a local guy a chance....if he's not so bad, he fills a spot, and the franchise gets a pat on the back for giving a local guy a chance...what's the downside?

    We really need more "fix the quarterback situation" threads. Maybe after we solve the Panthers problems, we can offer our services to the other 12 to 16 teams that don't have a quarterback.
