Thrash and Pinkston would have only dropped 4.

Did we not have good pressure or were all the Eagle passes off of 3 step drops?
Until the last 4 min of the half we just got nothing to McNabb.

Can't tell about run D, I think the Eagles only rushed about 7 times

 

Jake needs to play three quarters next week in hopes that this is just rust.

 

quite a few slants that i remember and some screens. when they actually dropped back we didn't do too badly. bend don't break worked for a half for the defense.

offense was pretty disappointing. it would be nice not to be missing our 1st, third, 4th, and fifth receiving options though. that and jordan gross is gay.

 

I'm in Nashville for work and missed the entire first half.

How did Jake look?

 

yeah. i had been hoping to see matt moore get a good bit of time with the starters, but it looks like jake needs some practice.

at least i hope.

 

11 for 25. Peppers did have an impact in the run game wth 3 tackles, but obvously stalled in his pass rush.

The Eagles do have a quick passing offense, though they mixed in some double moves and deep routes. Pass rush should be better. We only got pressure when we blitzed.

It's hard to really grade our defense. Eagles were very sloppy, not just with drops, but lots of penalties.

 

not terrible. a notch above. he did try to get moose killed though.

 

Jonathan Stewart being a total gimp is a concern.
