I haven't seen quit, but we certainly didn't always get the fight to the bell attitude we saw most of the time. We had a lot of blowout losses this year. I can't say we gave it everything in some of those, especially up by 14 on the road at full strength.

They played hard some of the time with Carr. I don't think he's a fair excuse. However, I've seen this team play shitty in the past few years when it felt like the O wasn't helping. Not a "fuck it, I don't care anymore", but a downtrodden streak, and we've certainly had those.

    interesting insight.
Of course, I don't think that's unexpected. They were going to ask JR whatever they could when they had access to him so he knew going to this would mean answering questions. He sounded prepared. It also keeps him from having to do it formally.

I don't expect anything else from JR this year. Maybe around rookies.

And I believe what he's saying. He believes in the core of this football team, with the votes of confidence apparently still upcoming for Gross and Peppers. Probably a little less fiscal loyalty on guys who have been good to us, probably a few big contracts coming for guys not on this team.

Where is he going away to? His quality has dropped off tremendously in recent years, but he was still the only Observer writer even moderately knowledgeable about the NFL.

Dude, that's awesome. Yas used to regularly rip off my Emails to him in his column, so I stopped Emailing (which was about the time his quality declined - hrm), and this year I noticed ESPN coincidentally saying some things I'd only seen from our fantasy mag.

I know what it sounds like, but that was something that we actually discussed on TBR back then. Once it kept happening, I posted the Emails I had sent Yaskinskas and let people see for themselves how he'd ripped me off. I don't know for sure that he did it consciously, but it happened.
