    I know we're playing better at home. There's something about home-field advantage that makes me nervous, though. It hasn't worked out very well for teams lately. It's almost like a part of me wishes we lose to the Giants, but play well, win the other two games and get the #2 seed.

    If we're gonna get a bye, I'll take the 1st seed. I think it's the week off that hurts teams (see our midseason bye).

    I don't think the week off can hurt. It's a free pass to the divisional round. I'd always rather have a bye. It just seems like some teams fold under the pressure of playing at home, and it's just hard to imagine the Panthers going 10-0 in Charlotte.
