jake's mecanics look slot better than the past. Throwing more over the top than I remember. I guess the elbow was jacked up for awhile...

i can only hope that jake has incorporated the jump throw in to his repertoire. hopefully we gained at something from the david carr era.

damn nobody else with some info? OK here's what I remember....

Jake and Moose seem like they are already on the same page and the time is straight. Guess thats gonna be a good thing for the two games suspension. Moose did stop on one route near the endzone that could have been a completion if he'd taken two more steps.

ALready mentioned Jake's mechanics seem bettter, also looked like plenty of zip on the ball on the throws to the sidelines. Placement seemed good, put a couple nice passes right in the gaps in the zone for completions and a TD in 11-11. I feel alot better than I already did about his elbow after today.

Jake had one pass to Rossario down the seam that would have been a TD but the DB got away with holding on it. Had it beena game I would have lost it... but it was a pretty pass and would have been right on the money if not for the hold.

Jason Carter looking good with some nice catches and a TD pass from Jake. 1st O vs 2nd D. Sat down right in the soft spot of the zone and Jake nailed him.

Deangelo looked good, some nice holes to the left for nice gains. Would have liked to see Stewart but I guess I can wait a week.

Toefield looked good, I'd hate to see him go. Had one run to the right that looked like he was gonna get the corner and take it to the house but a shoestring tackle got him at the last second.

Kasay was solid. Nice 47 yarder I think it was during 11 on 11.

Gary Gibson and Stephen WIlliams both had sacks from the DT spot against the 2nd O. Its was 1st D vs 2nd O. SO either the 2nd Oline has issues or we got something to work with at DT... Peppers also had a sack but it was nothing special, for some reason the line let him go unblocked.

Otah looked good from the few times I zeroed in on him. The few times I watched Fonoti I wasn't impressed. Going with the 2nd and 3rd Oline, at times he looked sloooow coming out of his stance.

Dan Conner the couple of times I watched him seemed to have enough speed to play. One play he flowed all the way to the sideline and would have made the play at the LOS if it hadn't gotten blown up for a loss.

Dwayne Jarrett had a couple of good catches.

Moore looked pretty good. Basenez was OK, had one pick to I think it was CJ Wilson.

One undrafted guy that caught my eye was Chris Conklin TE from Wingate. Had good hands, couple nice catches. If nothing else make practice squad for a year or two to see if he develops....

All I can think of for now. If I remember anything else I'll add later.

I think it's going to be hard to run or pass on our defense. I know it's 2nd vs 1st and defense is always ahead of offense, but damn... they look stout.

Beason was jacked up First couple of running plays with Moore at QB, stuffed. First two pass plays were sacks, Lewis & Pep, then they went after Marshall. He was in on several plays and knocked a few down then got called for pass interference on a long throw by Moore, I thnink to Carter. On the next play to a TE, Marshall stuck him, picked him up and slammed him to the ground. Defense held from the and they kicked the FG.

1st string offense came out running. Williams speed, and the offense as a whole was evident. I think DW had 18 yards on the first play. There was a few runs that looked like stuffs from my angle, but on the replay, you see DW coming out of the pile and just an arm reaches out for his jersey from behind and brings him down. Too bad because there was nothing but endzone.

Delhomme to Moose was nice to see... and to hear over the speakers. Moose looks really good.

Dan Conner was in on a few nice tackles.

I'm still unsure if there's going to be competition at K. Lloyd can kick FG's, and did... right down the middle. Not sure on the distance.

During warms ups (I was in the endzone seats) it's really apparent Peppers is a leader. Hard to explain the body language, but it was as if he watching over everyone and running things with those guys, and they seemed to follow. Peppers carries himself like a leader, it's a new look. It's hard to explain, but that's what I see. Beason too... he very vocal.

Godfrey almost had an INT in the endzone too. It's was close, I think that was the first series with Moore, so I guess that would put him #1 on the depth chart.

Still hard to tell who is in front with Goings & Toefield, but I'm leaning Toefield. I think Goings was in with Moore and Toefield backed up DW with Jake... if memory serves.

And it was nice to see Mike on the field. Nice to see some football. It was really fucking hot.

ya...it was hot as all get out. i'd caution against reading too much into yesterday because it was hot, and it was fanfest, and they weren't going all-out by any means.

otah is very similar to a mountain. he also seemed to be consistently high in his stance, making it easier to pick him out.

peppers' sack early on was completely unblocked by frank omelet. he was in the backfield within 2 seconds of the snap. it drew a huge cheer, mostly relief i think from the crowd, that maybe he hasn't forgotten his old self.

the first team d absolutely owned the second o. the only break they got was the pi call, that may have been a noncall in actual game. feet tangled mostly from my vantage point.

moose had some nifty catches, one in particular in the 7-7 drill right on the sideline.

beason played up some for the folks in the stands during warm up drills.

williams ran well. most, if not all, of the runs seemed to be towards otah's direction, which is understandable.

lloyd has a far stronger leg than kasay. however, kasay made all his attempts. lloyd missed one, at least.
