Mcdermott couldnt coach a fucking girls soccer team. Yeah, the talent sucks on D but for fucks sake teach some basic tackling skills. Cam played well enough for a decent defensive team to win.

On a side note, I miss the fuck out of good Jake. Remember when that no talent cajun numbskull would pull games out of his ass? He made plays that Cam cant. For all his physical skills, he lacks the "it" Jake had. Good Jake (before the bad elbow) wouldve won yesterday. Just goes to show how rare that "it" is. Good Jake is still the best qb we ever had.

I, for one, loved watching an average team with guys that gave a shit win and miss guys like Jake, Moose, Hoover, Minter and Rucker. These young guys on this team havent figured that stuff out yet. I used to live and die with the wins and losses. Now, its kind of like oh well.

Starting to agree about McDermott. When you start seeing linebackers and safeties covering wide receivers, I put that on scheming/coaching.

Those were very standard Tampa-2 looks. Now I don't think we should be running Tampa-2 at all with this personnel, so you can put that on McDermott, but it wasn't bad scheme design. Players were in position to affect the play, they simply didn't.
