On the 1st, long, imcompletion to KC, it looked like KC stopped and jumped, making the pass overthrown. I wasnt sure whether KC slowed down on that one too, but he may have.

I think Carter is clearly better.

Has anyone seen King do anything, including making a block? Our TE situation is not good. Seidman started, and got alot of time. Gaines was rotating in there.

I thought all the LBs were really good. I think Adams sticks. Diggs is here because he's always hurt. Unless they're ready to start Anderson, they better keep Adams. I thought he was pretty good.

I thought Branch was more aggressive than Ive seen him.

I don't think tou would be quite so encouraged if you saw that first half. Jake's decisions were not as bad as his actual accuracy. He flatout missed on about 5 of his first 7 passes, and once again he got lucky that a ham-handed DB could not hold onto a ball that was his for the taking.
Saban, Mularkey and Capers are probably going to get a pretty talented roster of guys into the playoffs this year. I wouldn't mind at all if they dethroned NE.

So I guess Shelton is a goner. We barely saw him in the preseason, so he must have stunk it up in practice.

I can take Jake being off to start, accuracy wise. I missed the first part, coming in from work to see the goal line stand.

    Run, and stop the run.

Weinke was terribly late with passes, held the ball too long, and stared at even the checkdowns before the pass. Ugh. Nothing wrong with his passes, they were just late.

    it's a school night!

i missed the first bit of the game, damnit!

i think once the panthers start actually GAMEPLANNING for opponents, it'll be scary.

i saw whale practically ole his assignment -- the one pitch left to williams where he got head tackled by the defender.

A couple of pictures before I crash. This was the goal line stand. Nice containment by the horses up front
