I read the Panthers defense hasn't caused a turnover in 3 game?

 

We've dropped interception(s) every week. I think our DBs should spend less time nicknaming themselves and more time practicing catching balls.

 

Lost time of possession and turnovers - still won.

 

We did a good job of creating explosive plays, thanks largly to the Patriots playing with seven players on defense, and we did a reasonable job of eliminating big plays. That's just as important as the turnover ratio. Brady nickle and dimed us but he does that to everybody. The few times that we stopped them in the redzone ended up being the difference in the game.

 

We had dudes running wide open. On Fozzys td run both he and Dickson were wide open. Funchess td nobody was guarding him. On the long Benjamin catch and run he was wide open but so was Funchess deep. So maybe it was because our offenseibe scheme was so good, and we certainly prepared well, but gotta chalk some of the success to how bad their defense played. Great win though

 

The Fozzy TD was a legitimately great call, and using motion always gives you an opportunity to force coverage breakdowns, but yeah, the Pats are a clown show on defense this year. You have to wonder why Belichick gave a shitload of money to Stephon Gilmore despite seeing him twice a year and knowing he was a mediocre cornerback in Buffalo. Also, there's very likely some complacency finally setting in up there after all of the success they've had. The "5X CHAMPIONS" banner they have posted all over their stadium is pretty fucking tacky and arrogant. I'm shocked that they're doing that, since their entire ethos has been "on to Cincinnati".

 

Brady's completing 67 percent of his passes for 9.0 yards per throw, with 10 touchdowns. There is another quarterback, though, who is completing 70 percent of his passes, for 9.4 yards per throw, with 11 touchdowns. That quarterback is named Whoever Is Facing The Patriots Defense.
