Look on the bright side, after going 1-7 and came back to 7-9. Depending on what they do in the offseason and with everyone healthy Carolina should be scary next year.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing earlier. It's like we store up those W's that it would take to hit .500 for one really good season every 5 years or so.

On the flip side, I think this season was due to injuries and a couple of poor decisions re: free agency. The first situation should right itself, the second can be repaired in the next few months and in the draft.

Fox and Jake and the rest are still my boys. They'll get us back there next year.

It sucks with no more Panther football and July is a long way off, but think of all the playing time Kerry Colbert, Travelle Wharton, Chris Gamble got. Nick Goins proved himself as a solid RB, Jordan Gross did struggle but he gained alot of experience. Kindal Moorehead stepped up as well as Will Witherspoon.
Additional OL help is needed and something needs to be done about improving KO's, Kasay cannot get the ball deep enough IMO. Average start 32 yard line. And no. 22 seems to be a decent KO returner. Overall a losing record but a chance to play alot of young guys.
People wearing Panther uniforms I hope are not around next year, Matt Willig, Brezenski, Brian Allen, Broussard come to mind.
We still need a competent back up QB.
We really should be very strong next year with a few good roster moves and a decent draft.

Yeah we're moving on up to the east side in the draft.

When we started this run it was in the back of my mind that we would likely end up 7-9. I thought maybe we had turned the corner but we didn't.

I think the bottom line for us is that we have to learn how to beat the Falcons if we are going to get to the next level.

Think of it this way. Last time we were 7-9 the following year we went to the Super Bowl :xyzthumbs
