No, we should wait and see what happens in the next few games. I honestly expect us to blow out Miami in a complete game, just like with Atlanta. Then we will play like shit against the Cowboys, as is tradition. We win in New York, and then play Buffalo surprisingly close in another loss. That lands us at 3-5 as we go into the hard part of our schedule. But after getting stomped in Green Bay, we can get right against the Saints and maybe the Falcons. If that happens, who knows what we can do down the stretch?

The season's far from over, but the team needs to start being consistent, and I mean on the good side. Right now it seems like the biggest problem is coaching, followed closely by inside linebacker play.

"Young has the worst road win percentage by a first-round quarterback over the last 30 years with a minimum of 10 starts. Young is 1-15 in road games, which is worse than Ryan Leaf's 1-9 mark in his first 10 starts."

If the Panthers can't win some of these easier games on the horizon and they continue to look underprepared in the process, I expect coaches to start getting fired and players traded away. Canales has already put himself in a rough spot. Retaining Evero was a horrible, cowardly decision, keeping players bubble wrapped in preseason has yet again made the team look like shit in September while accomplishing absolutely nothing on the health front, and defenses have countered whatever he figured out with Bryce down the stretch of 2024. They need to turn this around very fast or there's going to be another new cast in 2026.

Not a lot are talking about Evans.

"Thanks to his most recent contributions to the Panthers offense, rookie Mitchell Evans ranks 11th among PFF's Top 15 rookies. Though he played sparingly in the first three weeks, Evans had his first multi-catch game on Sunday against the New England Patriots.
His grade of 76.5 incorporates his 72.0 pass-blocking grade and 76.0 receiving grade. Evans now has five catches on six targets for 41 yards and a touchdown. He scored the touchdown in Week 4, recording the team's second TE touchdown of the game. Though he ranks far behind his peers in total snaps at 72 through four games, Evans has the third-best overall grade amongst all tight ends at the moment."

The rookies from this class appear to be a few notches above last year's group.

We stopped drafting for RAS, and started going for PFF Analytics scores instead. Looks like it's paying off, at least according to PFF.

"The Panthers released outside linebacker DJ Johnson on Tuesday, the team announced."

They moved up to get this clown.

Moved up to get Bryce too.

Moving up is not always in Panthers best interest it seems.
Think they jumped back into first round to get Legette too.

"The Carolina Panthers may have already filled one of the two empty spots on their active roster.
According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, the Panthers are signing rookie safety Trevian Thomas from their practice squad."

Why is the source a station out of Huston? Odd.
