Eh, a lot of non-Hurney guys can get that. I'm not sure the Vikings have had much personnel success lately.

Whoever it is, it will be so cool to not have Hurney.

I don't think JR is senile, but I stopped trusting him as an owner a long time ago. I think he's a stubborn old asshole in a league that's evolving.

I vote for Gettleman or Popp. If it's Beane I'm going to be very depressed.

True enough. The idea of a young guy with new ideas (like Atlanta's among others) instead of some older stuck in the way it's been done is not what I want. Talent evaluator first with cap knowledge and not afraid to cut a player who's popular. Not sure JR would allow one of his guys to get cut.

I have no idea about Popp or the CFL. Dose the CFL have salary caps anywhere similar to the NFL?

CFL has a cap but it's only 4.8 million per team. If Paton is the man someone better help him from getting too giddy

I wonder what part Gettleman had in keeping OSI from getting paid and still playing and Bradshaw for signing relatively cheap.

I like him and he's probably the leader going into interviews, but I wonder what part of Carr he had.

It's going to be Jim Popp.

    The reason is simple.
    Jim Popp has 7 letters.
    Ron Rivera has 9 letters.
