Jake had over 600 yards more passing in '04 than '03 and we rushed for about 500 more yards in '03 than '04

so Colbert put up less numbers in a pass happy offense, plus Moose was voted most physical WR in the league in '03 for being the total package at his position...

I like Colbert and all but your comparison sucks

it's also funny that Chad Johnson led the league in drops with 14, but won the catching contest in Hawaii

of course, he had 95 catches and over 1,200 yards and went to the Pro Bowl...

Colbert had 47 catches and 10 drops btw

He's in good company, too. I'd love to have any of those guys to replace Moose. You still can't name any specific examples, which means it shouldn't be that big of a deal. Also means your as big of a stat rat as I am.

    good company?

A guy dropping 10 out of 100 attempts is far from being in the company of someone dropping 10 out of 55 attempts.

    I can name first TB game, dropped pass before Muhammad's go-ahead TD;
I can name Philly game, first quarter, first posession, third down before punting he dropped a short pass.
And yeah, New Orleans, second game, 3rd quarter, second posession.

    Tampa vs. Carolina
    Week 12
    Bank of America Stadium
    First meeting of season.

    Colbert:

    Two touchdown receptions

Second TD caught leaping, coming back for ball, with :27 on clock. Pushed score to 21-14, Carolina.

That would make it the GAME WINNER.

MInor oversight. He had a good game that day, too. Doesn't change that I pulled 3 drops as requested, nor that none of this has thing 1 to do with the topic.

It SOUNDS promising, like maybe they have a deal nearly set and minor details are all that remains...although, I am not that confident now that the combie has started. The FO has alot of work to do this weekend and should have had this out of the way if it was going to get done.
I am hopeful, but not confident.
