    Don't you think Marty could see this issue coming when they brought him back after '03? By all accounts, things are not looking good for Moose to be back in '05. If we are going to assign blame, we should blame them for bringing him back after an okay season, not for letting him go now.

    Last year wasn't all that bad. 2nd in postseason receiving stats doesn't suck.

    ok, now that it has aired--moose says he is still talking with the team, but they are at a stand still....he aalso said -quote-if i were a betting man, i would bet that i will be back next season-end quote.


    i understand him being very positive--itr benefits him, but i do beleive him when he says it.

    I didn't say it was all that bad. I was talking more specifically of his year as a whole, not a 4 game stretch. I give Moose all the props for the way he played in the postseason, especially the Super Bowl. But getting that far took more than his efforts. Keep in mind that the defense wasn't all that bad either until the Super Bowl.
