I wonder if Eddie George will be in studio with him or will it be a telephone connection ?

If he is in a Charlotte studio it is very unlikely to be one at WFNZ. More likely he would be at the MRN Radio studios in Concord or the NASCAR Hall of Fame studios uptown. Sirius has a relationship with MRN and HoF and they have more than one studio available.

Much more likely they sent him gear so he could do the show from home. Most of the talent on Sirius/XM produced shows work from home. Just the way they do things.

    Heeere's Johnny....

I hope Sirius didn't give Johnny from Effingham a new gig, too...even Mark Packer should be smart enough to not trot that lame stuff out anymore.

I don`t miss any of the so called regular callers from his show. It was just the same old shit on a different day.

So why did no other local station pick him up?

    Asking price too high?

Or just not enough listeners to justify possibly splitting the market? The demo is not large enough?

I'm guessing a combination of both.

If I remember right from what I read and heard here his numbers were down significantly and he didn't want to take a paycut.

Oh and his schtick was tired as hell
